As the name suggests, Pretty Vacant was founded in 2004 by two former Camden Market traders to explore the parallel between music and fashion.
The brand moved to the calmer waters of Brighton, where the couple Simon and Mhorag focused on the brand's signature look from the 1940s to the 1970s. Many of the silhouettes you see in the collections today are inspired by hours of roaming the streets, searching various second-hand shops for vintage garments.
We are very proud to be certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and by the Soil Association.
